ABOUT THE CREATOR // JANE PEARSON
I Treat Endgame Mechanics Like Engineering Problems
I’m Jane Pearson. I’ve spent over twelve years leading raid teams, theorycrafting damage rotations, and running solo clears across the most demanding shooters and MMOs on PC. I built this site to provide honest, stress-tested breakdowns for players who take their gameplay seriously but don’t have forty hours a week to waste on failed pulls.

Behind the Screen: How I Got Here
My gaming background started back in hardcore PC MMO progression, where sitting through six-hour wipe nights on a single boss phase was standard practice. Over the years, that obsession transitioned into high-stakes shooters: Day One raid contests in Destiny 2, punishing wipe cycles in Escape from Tarkov, and pushing seasonal keys in World of Warcraft.
As gaming media shifted toward algorithmic search farms, I noticed a frustrating trend: almost every guide on the internet started copying the same unverified advice. Writers with zero raid clears were copying manufacturer blurbs and patch notes without ever testing whether a weapon roll actually holds up when an enraged boss stomps your cover. I started publishing my own notes simply to give my fireteam accurate information—and that documentation grew into this blog.
My Testing Pipeline: How I Verify Builds
I don’t recommend a weapon, perk, or stat setup just because it looks good in a spreadsheet simulator. Every guide on this site goes through a strict three-phase testing cycle before I write a single word:
Phase 1: Frame & Swap Timings
Paper DPS figures lie because they ignore animation locks, reload cancels, and weapon swap delays. I record damage phases at 120 FPS to measure the exact time it takes to cycle between weapons, ensuring that my recommended rotations deliver maximum damage before the boss shield returns.
Phase 2: Live Pressure Scenarios
A build that only works when teammates baby your healing rifts is useless in real play. I take every setup into Grandmaster Nightfalls and high-pressure extraction runs with random LFG squads. If a build can’t keep me alive while reviving two teammates under fire, it gets cut.
Phase 3: The Panic Factor
If a rotation requires seven button presses in half a second, human error will ruin your run under pressure. I favor reliable, forgiving perk combinations over fragile glass-cannon setups that fall apart the moment a mechanic forces you out of position.
Where My Hours Go
Destiny 2: Raids & Dungeons
My main playground. I focus on Day One raid contests, solo flawless dungeon emblems, and duo Grandmaster Nightfalls. I break down mechanic callouts, map safe zones for DPS, and explain how to recover when an encounter goes sideways.
Tarkov & Extraction Shooters
I run solo wipes, focusing on early hideout progression, economy management, and survival rates over mindless Chad-rushing. My guides prioritize high-value loot extraction routes and breaking line-of-sight during squad ambushes.
World of Warcraft: Mythic+
Pushing keys as a healer teaches you everything about situational awareness. I cover dungeon routing, major cooldown planning for lethal trash packs, and pug-friendly strategies that keep groups from disbanding on key affixes.
